Obituary of Windsor Morris Allaby

Mr. Windsor Morris Allaby was born on June 1, 1939 in Plaster Rock, NB. He was the son of the late Gordon and Janet (Giberson) Allaby.

Windsor spent a lot of time behind the wheel in his big rig, driving from California to Cape Breton. Even though he made his living driving long haul, he still loved to go for drives when someone else was doing the driving. He also loved country music and being part of the McDonald’s Coffee Club.

Family was very important to Windsor; he loved to tease and torture and always had a smile or a laugh to give.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; his stepdaughter, Wanda McAleese; his stepson, Scott McAleese (Carolyn); his brothers: Gordon (Wendy), Randy (Ferne) and Warren (Gail); his sister, Rose; his grandchildren: Casey and Emma; his great grandson, Kayden; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Windsor Allaby of Sussex passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital with family at his side on July 7, 2018 at the age of 79.

He is predeceased by his brothers: Howard, Wayne and Ronald and by his sisters: June, Maxine and Myrtle.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176), from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11:00am.
