Sorry to hear that Jane has passed away. It has been many years since I had seen Jane. We were friends growing up in Hampton. For a few years Christina Allaby would tell me about her visits out to see Jane Bunny was a good friend also. We moved to Nauwigewauk in the Summer of 1959. Mom And Dad were away one weekend and Jane and Bunny came down and stayed with me. We were all born the same year. I think that was the last time that I saw Jane. I remember that she looked the same as in her photo. I will have to look up my old pictures and see if Jane is in any of them.The years go by so quickly.I have a Granddaughter 9 years old and we were out for a drive last week as we passed your home in Hampton I said to Julieanne'" see that house I used to go there when I was your age to play."' I represent our graduating class from the Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing in 1962. Sincere condolences to Janes family. Jane and I usually corresponded at Christmas. I was always so proud of her accomplishments,following her nursing career to go into law. A wonderful achievement When Jane was home a number of years ago Velma Bos, another classmate,and I drove to Sussex to have supper with her. We had a lovely visit together. A memorial donation will be forwarded to the Faculty of Nursing UNB Saint John in her memory for Nursing Education.
