Mr. Robert Lewis MacAfee was born in Millstream on July 28, 1919; he was the son of the late Robert Wesley and Martha Clementine (Folkins) MacAfee. Lew is survived by his beloved wife, Pauline; Four daughters: Linda Waugh and her husband Jim of Fredericton, Candace MacAfee and her husband Jimmy Lizotte of Saint John, Paula McDermott and Stephen Erb of Newtown and Jenny Robinson and her husband Dale of Berwick; his grandchildren: Melissa Dawe and Peter Wedge, Michael Dawe, Eliza Dawe and Greg Phillips, Vanessa Dawe, Britta Garnett and Jeff Rogers, Ashley Garnett and Jeremy McAulay, Erika and John-Michael McDermott, Morgan, Luke and Katie Robinson; Two great grandchildren: Jayden and Devon Phillips; as well as several nieces and nephews. Lew is the last surviving member of his immediate family, he is predeceased by his two sisters: Eleanor Ruiter and Alison Sansom and by his son-in-law, Mike McDermott. Mr. Lew MacAfee of Kiwanis Nursing Home formerly of Berwick passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on December 26, 2010 at the age of 91.
