Obituary of Alegra Darlene Sharpe

Alegra Darlene (Fenwick) Sharpe was born in Sussex on June 19, 1954; She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Iva (Fougere) Fenwick.

 

Alegra was passionate for fitness and maintained a regular gym routine. She could often be found walking the streets of Sussex in the very early mornings or attending fitness classes. 

 

She had a deep and unwavering faith in the Lord and attended the Sussex Community Church (Salvation Army).

 

She was very family oriented and always willing to help anyone she could. Her pride and joy was her son, Larry and her beautiful granddaughter, Nora.

 

She maintained a full time career for 37 years at Clark Chevrolet.


She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

 

She will live on in the hearts of her son, Larry Sharpe; granddaughter, Nora ( mother Gabrielle) of Dieppe; her special companion, Pat Burke and his daughter, Bridget (Randy); her brothers: Calvin Fenwick (Janet) of Plumweseep and Eric Fenwick of Moncton; her sisters: Joyce Thorne of Sussex and Dorena Mason (John) of Head of Millstream; her stepmother, Marie Fenwick of Petitcodiac; the father of her child, Lawrence Sharpe; her brothers-in-law: Bruce Finley, Sonny Sharpe (Myrna), Gordon Sharpe (Norma) and Lloyd Sharpe (Brenda); her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Fanjoy, Elva MacLean (Tal), Eva Stewart and Elsie Bowland  (Donnie); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Alegra Darlene (Fenwick) Sharpe of Sussex; passed away at her residence on July 25, 2018 at the age of 64.

 

She is predeceased by her parents and by her sister, Debbie Finley.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. 

A Celebration of Alegra's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00pm.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alegra may be made to the Sussex Community Church or to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com

 

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to the nurses and oncologists of the Moncton City Hospital and The Extra Mural for all their kindness and compassionate care. To all of our family and friends for all of their love and support and to the staff of Wallace Funeral Home for their kindness and exceptional care in our time of need.
