On September 23, 1950 Murray would marry the love of his life, Jean Kerr after three years of dating.

They would continue their celebrating their love story by bringing into the world, four wonderful children. In 1975, Murray and Jean would move to Sussex where they would proudly own and operate the "School Store" for several years.

After a decade, they would spread their wings and move to Calgary, where Murray would work for and retire from Calgary Housing. After 20 years of the wild wild west, they would return to their roots and continue to celebrate their 70 years together.
