Obituary of Eleanor Evelyn Starkey

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eleanor Evelyn Starkey announce her passing, which occurred on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Sussex, NB, on March 15, 1960 she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Mary (Smith) Ross.

 

Eleanor is survived by her loving husband Vernon Reicker; children Crystal Starkey-Goddard and her husband Scott of Cambridge-Narrows, NB, Ryan Starkey and his wife Leah of Regina,  SK, Rhonda Reicker of Sussex Corner, NB, and Rodney Reicker and his wife Michelle of Sussex Corner, NB; brother David Ross and his wife Phyllis of Mt. Middleton, NB; sisters: Marilyn Munroe of Cambrose, AB, Sheila Middleton and her husband David of Portage Vale, NB, Patricia McGouey and her husband Donald of Highfield, NB, and Heather Jack and her husband Michael of Newtown, NB; grandchildren: Mya, Jordyn, Damon, Payton, Emma and Addison; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of Eleanor’s life will take place on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11am from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Sussex Corner, NB. Interment will take place at Woodland United Church Cemetery, Pearsonville, NB.
