Obituary of Troy Lavoie
Troy Lavoie was born in Sussex on May 5, 1992; He was the son of Joseph Lavoie and the late Teresa Lavoie.
Troy had a passion for music and loved to play his guitar. Having many jam sessions with friends and family over the years.
He loved to be outdoors, whether it was on his bike, four wheeling or back-roading. He was always up for adventure.
Family was very important to Troy, he loved spending quality time with them and he especially loved going to the Jiggly Room with Grampy.
Troy was a hard worker and loved his job; he was fondly known as Mr. Reliable. He loved tinkering with anything mechanical and was always needing a winch to drag something out of the woods.
He had a huge heart and was always wanting to help others. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was random and silly and loved to make people laugh. People were naturally drawn to him and he was loved by everyone whose path he crossed.
He will be missed terribly by all who were blessed to have had their lives touched by him.
He will live on in the hearts of his parents: Joseph and Krista of Jemseg; his stepfather, Leonard Denny of Picadilly; his brothers: Davey of Picadilly, Justus and Rebecca of Youngs Cove and Jody of Jemseg; his sister, Jolaine of Jemseg; his grandparents: Jack McLean of Picadilly, Shirley Lavoie of Long Creek and Robert Lavoie of Whites Mountain; his nephew, Liam; his step brothers: Raymond Denny, Billy Denny, Terry Denny, Larry Denny and Allan Lavoie; his step sister, Kelly Demerchant; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Troy Lavoie of Picadilly passed away suddenly on September 29, 2018 at the age of 26.
He is predeceased by his mother, Teresa and by his grandmothers: Almeda McLean and Eleanor Lavoie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. The Celebration of Troy's life will be held on Friday from Wallace Community Chapel at 2:00pm.
