Obituary of M. Albert Black

Mr. Murray Albert Black was born in Hunters Home in June of 1939. He was the son of the late Harold and Bessie Luella (Damrey) Black.

In September 1958, Albert married the love of his life, Louise and together they celebrated 60 years building a life and celebrating their love.

Albert had a passion for the outdoors; especially fishing, hunting and gardening. To breathe in the fresh air and take in all the sites the outdoors had to offer him, it was his favorite place to be.

Albert graduated with his mechanics license in 1968 and worked for many years as a mechanic at Dryden's and Clarks. He was a hard worker and enjoyed being involved in his community. He was a member of the Canaan River Fish and Game Association, the Canaan River Seniors and the neighborhood watch.

He was a family man and loved spending time with family and friends; especially if he could squeeze in a moment to tease or make them laugh.

He will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Louise; his children: Murray Black and his wife Emily, Gale Fanjoy and her husband Bill and David Black; his brothers: Herb Black and his wife Brenda and Roy Black; his sister-in-law, Donna Black; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Albert Black of Hunters Home passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 79.

He was predeceased by his sister, Dolly and by his brother, Alfred.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.

A Celebration of Albert's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00pm.
