Obituary of Donald Edward Gaudet

Mr. Donald Edward Gaudet was born in Sussex on October 29, 1938. He passed away at the Golden Years Estates on October 9, 2018 at the age of 80.

Donnie joined the Militia at the age of 15.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Sussex Branch # 20 since 1970.  He worked as a labourer at Barbour Foods, Sussex Farm and Gardens, The Co-op and Horton's IGA.

Donnie was predeceased by his mother, Helen (Gaudet) Richardson; his step-father, Joe Richardson; his grandparents: Mabel Dyer and Al Gaudet who was a tin smith in Sussex for many years and his cousin Maurice Gaudet.

He is survived by his cousin Maurice’s children: Normand (Lise) Gaudet, Michael (Darlene) Gaudet and Marc (Sylvie) Gaudet.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), from where a Celebration of Donnie’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00pm.
