Adam Hay

Obituary of Adam Hay

Mr. Adam Hay was born in Sussex, NB on June 26, 1980; he was the son of Kevin and Karen (Adair) Hay.

Adam was first and foremost a family man and loved spending time with his parents; annoying Eric and hanging out with Hayden, especially if it involved playing games or the Xbox. Anytime he could give to his family was time well spent for him.

He was a loving and kind hearted man. Once he loved you that was it, he always loved you and Adam was always sure to tell you that he did. He loved to do for others and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Adam was the type of guy always looked out for the underdog.

He loved to be outdoors, whether it was hiking, fishing or spending time in the mountains; to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the thoughts of being free.

Adam loved to laugh and always had a little glimmer in his eye when he did, his laugh and his goofy smile were contagious and you could not help but smile when you were with him. His memory will never fade and he will be deeply missed by all the people whose lives he touched.

He will live on in the hearts of his parents: Kevin and Karen (Adair) Hay of Waterford; his son, Hayden Dixon; his brother, Eric Hay and his wife Danielle of Waterford; his nephew, Cohen; his niece, Clara; his paternal grandmother, Margery Hay of Sussex; the mother of his son, Samantha Dixon; his paternal aunts and uncles: Larry Hay and his wife Sandra of Sussex, Lorraine Polley and her husband Kenneth of Sussex, Tina Jones and her husband Leslie of Moncton and Stuart Hay and Wendy Otis of Sussex; his maternal aunts and uncles: Larry Adair and his wife Ida of Shepody; Wayne Adair of Sussex; George Adair and his wife Enid of Waterford, Kevin Adair and Heather Horton of Plumweseep, Sarah-Mae Goddard and her husband Bob of Waterford, Sheila Chambers and her husband Elmer of Waterford; Dayle Kelly and her husband Bill of Moncton; as well as several cousins and friends.

Mr. Adam Hay of Moncton formerly of Waterford passed away suddenly on October 13, 2018 at the age of 38.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Cecil and Greta Adair and by his paternal grandfather, Ernest Hay.
