Obituary of Clifford Boyne

Clifford Boyne was born on September 16, 1946 in Horsham, England.  He was the son of the late James and Lillian (Bridge) Boyne.

He loved his family and would give the shirt off his back for them.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He would be at their dance recitals, sporting events and Christmas concerts but also played along with their drawing adventures while he pretended to sleep. They were the apples of his eye.

Clifford had a passion for the outdoors. He loved to be out in nature; hunting, fishing, four wheeling, camping with his family, time spent at Martin Head and his camp in Mechanic Lake with family and friends.   He was happy to check a cruise to Alaska off his list of things to do.

He received a special gift from his grandchildren in 2010 - Lucky.  Lucky held a very special place in his heart, not just his dog but his unexpected best friend.

Clifford was a handy man and could fix anything – especially the kids vehicles.  He worked in the mines out west; as well as in Sussex, but he retired after 20+ years of doing what he was most passionate about working as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

He will live on in the hearts of his wife of 45 years, Charlotte; his children: Jennifer Beach and her husband Trevor of Quispamsis, Paula Neal and her husband Chris of Quispamsis, Michael Boyne and Beth Ann Mercer of Collina and Elan Saniga and Don Bastarache of Riverview; his sister-in-law, Anne Candy of Sussex; 8 grandchildren: Matthew, Rebecca, Olivia, Alexandra, Matthew, Megan, Makayla and Nicholas; his great granddaughter, Savannah; his dog and best friend: Lucky; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, John Candy.

Clifford Boyne of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on October 31, 2018 at the age of 72.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). There will be a time of fellowship with the family at Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2-4pm.
