I have such fond memories of the two of us travelling back and forth to Moncton to Nursing School every weekend. She encouraged me to follow my dream and have been nursing now for 32 years ! A great memory---Aunt Evelyn was Rebecca Hovey /my nurse..she was a great comfort to me being a first time mom..I had a c-section and did not want Becca brought in till I was ready( the drugs had worn off...lol)...Evelyn would keep asking me if I felt comfortable enough to hold her...and after 4 hours of giving birth..I finally held her.XOXO...she was the only baby in Sussex for a week...so she had lots of hands on her at all times...I remember asking Evelyn if they were done and if some one would bring her in so I could feed her...lol.. Becca was one of the last babies birthed in Sussex...30 years ago..Rest in Peace Evelyn...XOXO---Sorry for your loss Kathy Fred and Family

We are so very sorry to learn of Evelyn's passing. She so enjoyed her winters in Lakeland and we enjoyed her enthusiasm for life. No one could fault her on the shuffleboard courts but she always said she had the best teacher in Cliff. She certainly was lucky in cards and bingo. Sincere condolences.
