I worked with Alvin for two years in 1987 and 88 at the Potash mines. It always put a smile on my face to arrive at work and see that Alvin was working that day, because he was such a wonderful man and so easy to get along with. He was always in the same mood......happy. Just last month I was asking my dad if he had ever heard how Alvin was doing.
Even though I haven’t seen him in many years, I always considered him a very good friend. He was a true gentleman, and today’s generation could do well to model themselves after him and the way he lived his life. My deepest condolences to Alvin’s family.
