Mrs. Graham was a wonderful teacher, supporter, and member of the CDS community. I worked alongside her many times and had the pleasure of experiencing her constant optimism and passion. Mrs. Graham had a great respect for everything CDS and poured her work into making it a better place. She was an invaluable leader of the student council, a constant support at every coffee house, and an understanding person to talk to. She cared deeply about her students and their wellbeing, always putting them before herself. She will be missed by all and remembered not only as a great teacher, but a compassionate and kind person. She truly has left a great legacy. We were so lucky to have her.

I wish to pass on my sincere condolences to Colleen’s family. Colleen was very special to our family for the short time we had to get to know her while she was an EA that worked with my twin sons with Autism. She had the special gift of a kind smile, patience that never ended and the unique ability to find the best in every single child she worked with. She was genuinely invested in each and every child that was privileged to be partnered with her. I can only imagine the love she had for her own child.
I only wish that there is some peace for her family knowing that she lives on in the hearts of so so many families that she had touched in her short life. Her spirit lives on is many.

I met Colleen when she was at Ecole St. Gerard. Such a gorgeous smile & cheerfulness.
She took over from a release teacher who taught almost every single subject to every grade...I remember her surrounded by tons & tons of duotangs which needed marking. Calm, competent, she never complained or appeared daunted.
Then, 2 months later, she got a new assignment, replacing the grade 5 teacher! Again, no complaining or grousing, just that dazzling smile & cheerfulness.
One day I ran into her and Max at the pool & it was wonderful to see them together, enjoying themselves.
Colleen was such a wonderful teacher both for her students and her colleagues-goodness, kindness, sweetness and such gentleness.
To her family & friends, I wish you comfort & ease, that you will feel God’s gentle touch and know that Colleen touched so many lives by the way she lived hers.

Unbelievably saddened by this news.
I had the opportunity to work with Colleen when I first moved to Esterhazy. She was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with.
Her laugh was contagious and I will forever treasure our shared love for dogs, the times we had as young teachers away from home, and the wing nights and trips to the P2 to blow off steam.

Her constant smile belied the cruelty of her illness and amazingly set others at ease in the way that was her way as she grew with her family and friends. Donna this makes me hurt so badly for you as I know how important family is to you. You gave your family a wonderful upbringing and the adults they have become are a major tribute to you and Joe. I know this loss will be hard for you, but there is hope beyond it. My faith tells me she is not gone, just moved on to the next stage of what our Heavenly Father has in store for all of us. She is with her baby brother now, well, hapy, and in no pain.
Once you get through this, move on and enjoy your grandson who is a big part of his Mum. You have many happy years of family ahead and time will help you get there.
