Kay was certainly an asset to our community. She was involved with many organizations, her church, Canadian Red Cross, Sussex No. 20, Royal Canadian Legion to name a few.
She could be counted on to help in many capacities.
Kay was a great lady and she will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace, Kay.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Kathleen brightened my days while spending time with her and caring for her at the Kiwanis Nursing Home. She never failed to make me smile, always gave the best hugs, and even kept me awake sometimes during night shifts just by sitting with me.
She always had something funny or sarcastic to say, but at the same time was always so loving.
I am grateful for getting to know her and care for her, and I will truly miss her.
- Megen

Kathleen lived next door to our Aunt Martha at the Anglian Church Home in Sussex. When ever we went to visit Martha we were greeted first by Kathleen ,first with a huge smile ,then a hug and a story. May she rest in peace.

My heart feels full of love and respect when I think of Kathy. Kathy quilted with us at St FX parish for years. We enjoyed her stitches as well as all her stories she shared from her days in England. She and Martha Verhoevan made the beautiful crocheted altar cloths that adorn our church altar. Most special to me is the crocheted table cloth she made for me simply for driving her around a bit after she stopped driving. Kathy “was one of a kind”. Rip dear friend.

Kathy was a great friend who cared dearly for our friend Bill Sullivan for years. Her wonderful sense of humour and constant attention to details in running his household was superb. We enjoyed her friendship and admired her willingness to help whoever was in need. Her faith was evident in her support of others and in the way in which she participated in church events. Rest in peace, old friend!
