Obituary of Cyril Milan Mallory

Mr. Cyril Milan Mallory was born in Hammond on March 31, 1943. He was the son of the late Lee and Muriel (Anderson) Mallory.

Cyril liked to hunt and had a passion for horses. He loved to hitch up "Moon" and take rides in St. Martin's with Candy and he enjoyed attending horseshows. He was an avid card player; whether it was cribbage or auction 45's and he loved playing horseshoes. He was also anchor for the Penobsquis Tug 'o' war team.

He worked for the Sussex Sawmill for many years, until his retirement.

Cyril was a kind and warm hearted man with a wonderful sense of humour. He loved to tease and torment and had a contagious smile that could warm a room.

He will live on in the hearts of his daughter, Heather Murphy and her husband Hawlie of Newline; his son, Stephen Mallory of Saint John; his grandson, Cody Oxford; his companion, Candy McBride; his brother, Bernard and his wife Jackie of Newline; his sister, Yvonne Sherwood of Sussex; his sisters-in-law: Kay Mallory of Saint John and Remona of Toronto; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Mr. Cyril Milan Mallory of Newline passed away at his residence on January 16, 2019 at the age of 75.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Hartley (Helen), George, Kenney and David (Sarah) and by his sister, Helen Reicker.
