Paul Goddard

Obituary of Paul Roger Goddard

Mr. Paul Roger Goddard was born in Sussex on September 8, 1959. He was the son of Laureen Goddard of Sussex and the late Robert Leo Voutour who passed away in 2017.

He was a genius at fixing things. Anything he could get his hands on with an engine, he loved fiddling with. When he moved out west, he took his motorcycle apart and put it in boxes to fit in his car. When he arrived out west, he unpacked each box and put it all back together. He was the true meaning of Jack of All Trades and was even a great carpenter and plumber.

Paul had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party. He loved to laugh and joke and spend time with his friends. Once you were a friend of Paul’s, you were a friend for life. He will be dearly missed by all those whose life he touched.

He will live on in the hearts of his mother, Lee Goddard; his wife, Debbie of Saskatchewan; his son, Nicholas Rossignol of Edmonton; his sister, Karen Hummel of Sussex Corner; his brother, Peter Voutour and his wife Rhonda of Colpitts Settlement; his nieces: Melissa Vincent and her husband Laurent of Manitoba and Michelle Reicker and her husband Rodney of Sussex Corner; his great nieces: Quinn and Addison; his aunt, Joan Brinston of Moncton; his uncle, Robert Goddard and his wife Mae of Waterford; his best friend, Chuckie; as well as several cousins, friends and extended family.

Mr. Paul Roger Goddard of Sussex passed away unexpectedly at home on January 20, 2019 at the age of 59.

Along with his father, Paul is predeceased by his Nana, Thelma Goddard and his uncle, Arthur Brinston.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6-8pm.
