So very shocked and saddened to read this!
I've been away for two weeks and believe I spoke to David not long before that at Sobeys. We became acquainted as patient and Nurse many years ago. Ever since then David and I have spoken whenever we saw each other at the Mall.He would always tell me what was new with him. So pleasant and cheerful all the time. He told me he loved it at his last residence.
I will really miss seeing David out and about.
Sincere Sympathy to his family.

Dear David,
Living next door on Main St., I remember you from the day you were born - always adorable, & I loved seeing you often. I was always surprised when you'd see me uptown & we'd have a chat - you were so upbeat.
You're in heaven now - far too soon - & in my prayers. May God be with you. You left us with a song in our hearts.

We are sadden upon hearing the passing of my cousin David. I have and will always cherish my youth upbringing with David, always being excited for our family trip from Montreal to Sussex to enjoy family. I remember the last time I saw David was at a Robinson family re-union. I tried to convince him to change his loyalty from the Montreal Canadiens to the Calgary Flames. Needless to say he didn't budge! We had a good laugh tho! Our thoughts are with David and his extended family. Rest in Peace.

Randy,Barb and family!I was not able to respond yesterday when I heard the tragic news.He was ten years my junior and although I knew he was unwell I still did not expect to out live him.I always looked forward to our conversations at the mall.I got in more trouble for keeping Jackie waiting at the car since I would actively look for him to get the news and catch up on our mutual old friends. He was always up beat and positive even though he could barely walk.I remember the last time I saw him.He showed me a photo of the three of you(Dave ,Randy, and Barb) of which he was so very proud.I did not realize he was in the hospital but I did notice his absence on my last couple of trips down town.I will think of him everytime I see an empty chair or bench in the mall. Our most heart felt condolences.Jim and Jackie Stephenson!

I am so sorry to hear that David has passed away. We grew up next door to David and Edris on Pine St. David was always quick with a wave, and he loved to stop and chat. He has called me from time to time over the past few years to inquire about my mother (Shirley Howe) and to catch up on news of the old neighbourhood. He was a kind and caring person, and he will be missed

I am so sorry to learn of David’s passing and extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He surely was a social butterfly. I will truly miss his big wave and smile when our paths would cross and the conversations we have had over the years. I will treasure my most recent visit with him at Sobeys during which he shared stories and memories he had of my Dad. I can just see him “chatting it up” in heaven right now and it makes me smile.
