Obituary of Muriel Pauline Day

 

Mrs. Muriel Pauline Day was born on May 11, 1923 in Youngs Cove, NB. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel (Lewis) Starkey.

 

She will live on in the hearts of her children: Betty Gaunce and her husband Bill, Myrna Baetz and her husband Lloyd and Maxine Comley and her husband Clark; her sister, Viola Parlee; her grandchildren: Stephen Bonnell, Darlene Bonnell, David Bonnell, Lisa Bonnell, Tara Baetz, Kolin Baetz, Bradley Glenn, Kimberley Glenn, Lori Copp, Darin Comley and Shawna Comley; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Mrs. Muriel Day of Sussex formerly of Chipman passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on March 3, 2019 in her 96th year.

 

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Malcolm Day who passed away in 1992; her daughter, Donna Glenn; her granddaughter, Deborah Bonnell; her brothers: Kenneth and Leonard Starkey; her sisters: Beulah Hourihan, Velma (Dot) Farris, Ethel Seely, Helen Garrett and Leola Greer.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home (506-433-1176), 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB.  from where visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00-11:30am. A Celebration of Muriel's life will be immediately following. The graveside service will take place at the Second United Baptist Church Cemetery, Chipman, NB at a later date.
