Obituary of Elizabeth Sharp

Born as Elizabeth Helen Walling, "Betty" passed away Sunday, the 10th of March, 2019 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home.  She was the daughter of the late William and Jean (Gourlay) Walling (of Bloomfield) and wife of the late Joseph Sharp (of Fox Hill). 

She is survived by her children Donna, Douglas (Melanie), Valerie (Michael) and Gary (Winnie); brother Allan (Anne) along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Betty was filled with pride and joy with the memories and accomplishments of her whole family. She was an immaculate knitter and was known to have a Green Thumb. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, camping, dancing, playing cards and her pets. Her door was warmly open for many.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 6 to 8pm.   Funeral Service will be held at Church of the Ascension, Apohaqui on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11 am.  

Betty was graciously and thankfully cared for at Raylee Brooks Manor and Kiwanis Nursing Home.
