Obituary of Angus Lloyd Kyle
Mr. Angus Lloyd Kyle was born in Cedar Camp on July 8, 1932; he was the son of the late Roy and Mary (Burns) Kyle. On his sixtieth birthday, he would receive his most prized birthday present; his granddaughter, Kayla.
Angus was a hard working man. He had a passion for carpentry and he loved to make things for his family members. He even built the home that he and Reta shared, as well as Marti's home. He retired from MMH in 1997, after working there for 25 years and even helping build the plant.
He enjoyed the outdoors and was always puttering away on something. In his younger years he loved hunting and fishing and throughout his life had a love for four wheeling. He always kept the lawn mowed and even, everything was always kept neat. "A place for everything and everything in its place." Angus always made sure to mow over Reta's flowers.
Angus had a great sense of humor and especially loved to laugh at his own jokes. His deepest love and the most important thing to him was his love for his family. The sun always rose and set on his grandchildren. They were his everything.
He was a selfless man and was always willing to give the shirt off his back and would never say 'No'. He was incredibly supportive and always looked after his girls. Each one was taught to drive by the one and only Angus.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Reta; his daughers: Marti Folkins and her husband Bill of Cedar Camp and Becky Richardson and her husband Calum of Millbrook; his sisters: Eva Carter of Riverview, Ethel Jeffries of Hampton and Shirley Pollock and her husband Ernest of Picadilly; his sister-in-law, Gladys Kyle of Sussex Corner; his brothers-in law, Donnie MacKenzie of Sussex Corner and Charlie Kyle and his wife Kaye of Amherst, NS; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Spicer and her husband Darren of Donegal and Phyllis Porter of Lower Sackville, NS; his grandchildren: Kayla Folkins (Mitchell Murray) of Roachville; Emma McFarlane, Alex McFarlane and Corbin Richardson; as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Mr. Angus Lloyd Kyle of Cedar Camp, passed away with his family at his side at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on March 20, 2019 at the age of 86.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Sherry Kyle; his son, Lloyd Kyle; his brothers: Lewis and James Kyle; his sisters: Marion Breau and Pauline Bourque
