Obituary of Michael Gibson
It is with sadness that the family of Michael Shane Gibson, age 69, announces his death which occurred on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Sussex Health Centre. He was born on August 22, 1949 in Fredericton, NB, a son of the late Charles (MacIntosh) Gibson and Irma Nadine (Parks) (Gibson) Carr.
Michael will live on in the hearts of his girlfriend Sandra Joubert; sons Michael Jr. (Natasha) Gibson of Prosser Brook, NB, Morgan (Coleen) Gibson of New Line, NB; grandchildren: Kayla Gibson (Matt Turpple), Cloe Gibson, Connor Gibson, Bailey Gibson, John Gibson, Jessie Rowe; great-grandchildren Sadie Turple, Savannah Turple; brothers Gabe Gibson (Helen Dykeman) of Fredericton, NB, Richard Gibson (Tina) of Grimsby, ON; life long friend Jerry Kyle, family friend Dana Black, as well as nieces, nephews and his extended family at Scenic View Campground that have been a part of his life for 19 years. Besides his biological parents, he was also predeceased by his step-father Murray Carr, his common-law wife of 22 years Jeannie Ross and infant brother John.
Mike will be remembered for his love of life, golf, a good story, old cars and fine women.
