Obituary of Audrey Darlene St. Amand

Mrs. Audrey Darlene St. Amand was born in Sussex on November 9, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel (Forsythe) Mercer.

Audrey was a kind hearted, loving and dedicated wife to her wonderful husband, Bil for over 39 years. The best mother, grandmother and great grandmother a family could ever have. 

She focused on family gatherings to share her beautiful home cooked meals, pickles and jams. 

Aurey couldn't wait for her grandchildren to stop over and fill her in with what has been going on. Her visits always ended up with a kiss, a hug and an "I Love You".

She loved to fish, garden and travel. Most of her down time was spent enjoying her oasis at Grand Lake, watching the kids swim and play. 

Audrey loved to paint, cook, sew and quilt. Her detailed talent and creativity was passed down to all of her family. Very few, to this day can say they have mastered any of it the way she had. 

Irreplaceable and Unforgettable. 

She will be deeply missed but remain in our hearts forever. 

She will live on in the hearts of her husband, Bill; her daughters: Darlene Nutter and her husband Greg, Lisa McMillan and her husband Eric, Angela St. Amand and Dan and Michelle St. Amand; her sisters: Nettia Jones and her husband Lloyd, Eileen Nichols and her husband Doug, Lois McCrea and her husband Gary, Eva Guimond  and her husband Anthony and Lauretta Jennings and her husband Charles; her brother, Barry Mercer; her grandchildren: Josh, Jay, Mykela, Sam, Alex, Natalie, Courtney, Jennifer, Nigel, Ryelynn, Whyatt and Wayland; her step grandchildren: Chad, Cory and Brittany; her great grandchildren: Philip and Carter; her step great grandchildren: Ella and Meadow; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Audrey Darlene St. Amand of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Center on April 27, 2019 at the age of 65.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings: Clara, Everett, Henry, Clinton, John, Isabelle and Donald and by her twin, Aubrey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 12-2pm.
