John Frederick Collier Grant was born in St. John's, Newfoundland on January 18, 1939; he was the son of the late John and Florella (Bursey) Grant. He will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife of 49 years, Grace; his daughter, Donna Young and her husband Robert of New Maryland; his son, John Jr. and his wife Sonia of Ottawa; his grandchildren: Rochelle Young, Mathis and Kaël Grant; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. John Frederick Collier Grant of Roachville passed away at the Moncton Hospital on June 15, 2012 at the age of 73. He is predeceased by his sister Gail Grant. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At John's request, no visitation will be held. A celebration of John's life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. Donations made to the Trinity Anglican Church Organ Fund would be appreciated by the family.
