Grace Eugene Geldart was born on September 1, 1917 in Highfield, Queens Co., NB. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Laurena (Carmichael) Pearson and the wife of the late Joseph H. Geldart who passed away in 2007. Grace is the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by her daughter Jo-Anne Evans and her husband Frank of Saint John, four sons: Roy of Campbell River, BC, Francis of Sussex, Brian and his wife Heather of Sussex Corner and Peter and his wife Kathi of Kelowna, BC. Three grandchildren: Joe and his wife Leala of Calgary, AB, Jill of Fairvale, NB and Amy of Sussex and five great-grandchildren: Cali, Gabrielle, Josephine, Camden and Grace, sisters-in-law Alma Oreto of Toronto and Georgie Pearson of Sussex Corner as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brothers Vernon and Malcolm Pearson. Grace Eugene Geldart of Sussex passed away on October 25, 2010 at the Sussex Health Centre at the age of 93.
