Obituary of Fannie Caroline Voutour

Mrs. Fannie Caroline (Ogden) Voutour was born in Millbrook, NB on July 1, 1931; she was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Rideout) Ogden.

Fannie was a very straight forward lady, any thought she had – she said. She loved her kids and many grandkids above all. She enjoyed spending her days in her gardens and evenings working on her knitting. Fannie was always surrounded by her many animals and she always had a passion for any style of hat.

She will live on in the hearts of her children: Doreen Barton of Moncton, John Voutour and his wife Brenda of Saskatchewan, Larry Voutour and his wife Faye of Sussex, Walter Voutour and his wife Cecile of Moncton, Cheryl Simpson and her husband Lloyd of Sussex, Kenny Voutour  and his wife Lana of Alberta, Anthony Voutour of Sackville, Paul Voutour and his wife Gail of Gagetown and Mary Voutour of Moncton; her fur-baby, Tippy; 23 grandchildren; as well as several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Fannie Caroline Voutour passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 9, 2019 at the age of 87.

Along with her parents, Fannie is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; her daughter, Hilda; her sons: Gary and Lawrence; her sister, Hattie Long; her half sister, Muriel Carhart and by her half brother, Harold.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on June 12, 2019 from 1 to 2pm, followed by a celebration of Fannie’s life from Wallace Community Chapel at 2:00pm.
