Obituary of Cheryl Charlton-Howe

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Cheryl Charlton-Howe on June 17, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side. 

Cheryl was born on March 28, 1975; she was the youngest daughter of Ruth (Finniss) Charlton and the late Russell Charlton.

She graduated from Sussex Regional High School, UNBSJ and Crandall University. Cheryl worked at Zellers in her early years and later chose teaching for her career. It was a profession she truly loved and excelled in. She taught at Dr. A.T. Leatherbarrow Elementary School and considered each student one of her kids and loved them all.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Christopher Howe of Berwick; her mother, Ruth Charlton of Apohaqui; her siblings: Wanda (Ed White) of Apohaqui, Richard (Stacey) of Apohaqui, Dan of Palm Desert, CA and Connie (Mike Armstrong) of Apohaqui; her mother-in-law, Valerie Howe of Sussex; her brother-in-law, Mike of Penobsquis; her sister-in-law, Heather (Gary Cunningham) of Fox Hill; her nieces and nephews: Brendan White, Chad White, Marcus Charlton, Megan Charlton, Kelsie Graham (Nolan), Devan Armstrong, Kristin Armstrong and Abby Howe; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She had a special place in her heart for her pet family. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). At Cheryl’s request, all arrangements will be held privately.
