Obituary of Renie Harper

The death of Laurina “Renie” Margaret Harper, 87, of Sussex, NB occurred on July 1, 2019 at the Sussex Health Centre.  Born at Waterville, Sunbury County, NB on September 5, 1931.  She was a daughter of the late George Dunfield and Laurina (Patterson) Dunfield and wife of the late Maurice K Harper.

 

Renie is survived by daughter Evelyn Sparks (Tim) of Moncton, son James (Jean) Harper of Grand Bay/Westfield, grandchildren; Jeffery Creighton (Jennifer Kenny), Andrew (Julia) Creighton, Hillary (Al) Richard, Dana (Angela) Fair, Ashley Harper; great grandchildren; Daniel, Lila, Josh, Alexander, Caylee, Emilie, Arielle and Ryan. Besides her parents and husband Maurice, she was also predeceased by her infant daughter Florence and half-sister Margaret Smith.

 

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Renie’s caregiver, Gwen Hawkes for all the love and care given to Renie over the past nine years.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2019 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8PM.  Funeral Service will be held at Sussex Baptist Church, 28 Church Ave. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 3:00PM.  Interment will be held in Waterville Cemetery.
