Obituary of Linda Florence Anderson

Linda Florence Anderson was born in Smiths Creek on December 30, 1950; she was the eldest child of George and Edris (Chestnut) Anderson.

There was nobody else who loved and enjoyed life more than Linda!  Her laugh was contagious, and she welcomed visitors to her home, always ready for a chat and a cup of tea.  She dearly loved her children, along with the diamonds in her life who were the grandchildren (Emerson, Marley, Jayden & Emily) whom affectionately called her “Nan!”  She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Donnie) of Cassidy Lake; her son, Dereck-Digger (Jessica) of Norton and her boyfriend, Kenny Beachum.  Her siblings: Brian Anderson (Judy) of Sussex, Betty Hall (Percy) of Collina and Nancy (Raymond) Anderson of the Moncton area; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Linda’s house was the “Hubbub” of activity with the local widow women and girlfriends always stopping in for gossip and a cup of tea.  Originally, from Smith Creek, she lived for a while in Saint John and Toronto before returning to the Dairy Town!  Linda worked many jobs during her career that included but not limited to Giermindl's, Barbours and the Red Cross.

Linda will be missed dearly by all who knew her.  She truly was a very amazing Mother, Grandmother and among most the best friend to her beloved daughter.  Linda’s gift for the gab and her wonderful “down-home” Maritime cooking always made it a must stop desired location along one’s travels in Sussex.  God Bless Linda and Sweet Dreams, we will always have a fond memory of you in our hearts!

Linda Florence Anderson of Sussex, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 7, 2019 at the age of 68. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where family visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9 - 11am. A Celebration of Linda's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:00am. There will be a time of fellowship with the family immediately following the service in the Wallace Reception Area. 

The interment will take place in Gosline Cemetery, Knightville, NB on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1:00pm.
