Obituary of Alfie Hargreaves
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Alfie Hargreaves announce his passing, which occurred on July 10, 2019 at the age of 81.
Alfie was born in Bagdad, NB on August 8, 1937 and was the son of the late James and Joyce (Smith) Hargreaves.
Alfie was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to spend his time fishing and hunting. He was known for his shooting, not just during hunting season but every time something didn’t work just the right way – Alfie would say, “I’m gonna shoot it”.
He was always the kind of man you would want around when it came to something broken, he could fix anything with a little spit and haywire. He was a hard worker and spent a great part of his years, working as a sawyer in the sawmill.
Alfie had a kind heart and would do anything for anyone. His kindness and wonderful friendship will be deeply missed.
