I am a third cousin from the States. My grandmother and Willis' dad were siblings in Sussex. My parents and I dropped in unannounced many years ago, hoping to meet some of Mom's family in person. We were greeted warmly by Marion and Willis and even invited for a meal. On one of our visits she made us "Lemon Delight". Wow. What a great cook and baker she was. Yes, Marion was such a creator of fine crafts, too. I still have one on her lovely tablecloths. Willis and Marion were so welcoming, cordial and caring. They showed us old family photos, that included my grandmother as a teenager. What a treasure trove of local and family history was right there in their home. My sympathy to all the children, spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren of Marion. As I watched the lovely video, so many memories of family flashed before my eyes and brought tears. Marion and Willis have lived well and have completed their missions here on earth. I shall never forget them. Mary Lou Winroth

Condolances to the family♡. Marion had a beautiful soul and was such a kind lady. She loved playing cards every evening at 7pm as it was one of her highlights of her day at Prim Rose Cottage ! She came to life at that point and the sparkle in her eyes were breathtaking ! Marion had a uniqueness in her sense of humour lol. I will miss marion a lot. Was happy to be her caregiver while at prim rose. Rest easy sweet lady!

Our Deepest sympathy to Marion's Family. It was with sadness that we heard of Marion's passing, and my thoughts drifted to our talks. The hard times, happy times and sorrow, she had witnessed in her life. A life lived with hard work and frugality, all the while soldering on. Social times with her Church family, Women's League, family gatherings and family visits. These were all treasured and lovingly stored in her mind and heart. It was these treasured memories that she held onto, and would often walk down memory lane when telling a particular story. Marion's hands were never idle as her many money-making endeavors are a testament to her talents. For years to come People will hold in their hands Marion's creations and a part of her. A strong woman who believed in family and tradition. Her hands are now idle and she is at rest having lived a full life. She has completed Gods tasks set out for her. Marion Bell - Anderson's quilt of life has been loving given to each member of her family to hold in their heart.
