Obituary of Shirley Goddard

It is with sadness that the family of Shirley Maxine Goddard, age 75, of Penobsquis, NB, announces her death which occurred on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Sussex Health Centre.  She was born on January 11, 1944 in Poodiac, NB, wife of the late Reginald Goddard and a daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel (Mathews) Mallory.       

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Madelene (Richard) Walton of Springdale, NB; her son, Terry (Lori) Goddard of Penobsquis, NB; grandchildren: Tanya (Shane) Demont, Ryan (Katelyn) Walton, Jennifer Walton, Dereck (Sarah) Goddard; great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Aliviah, Blake, Raelyn, Chloe, Jade, Amber; sister Glenna Mallery; brothers: Willard (Norma) Mallory, Gerald (Gladys) Mallory, Reynold (Mona) Mallory, Donnie (Joan) Mallory; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband Reginald, she is also predeceased by her sisters: Elizabeth Proctor, Eileen McDonald; brothers: Fred, Alvin and Raymond.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 1 to 4pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1:00pm from the Penobsquis Baptist Church.  Interment to follow in Cardwell Cemetery, Penobsquis.
