Obituary of Marie Murphy

Marie Jean Murphy (McMillan) died peacefully at the Sussex Health Centre on October 30, 2019.    She was the daughter of the late Emery and Francis Boudreau.

Marie was born November 4th, 1951 in St. Stephen. Marie was a wonderful loving person.  She cared for everyone.   Marie adopted a baby and raised him.  They settled in Youngs Cove.  Marie worked for Home Care Plus for many years and enjoyed doing this work until retiring due to health problems. 

Marie enjoyed having Jared over as often as he could get over.  She loved her dogs Blacky and Franny.  She loved to go out to many functions and to church when she could.

Marie leaves behind her loving husband, Walter; her son, James; her precious grandson Jared; her brothers, Ronnie (Tammy), and Chris (Crystal).  She was predeceased by her parents Emery and Francis Boudreau.

The family would like to thank Brenda Dykeman, Brenda McLaughlan, Stacey Dykeman plus all her Homemakers.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.  A Celebration of Marie’s life will be held at the Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, November 6 at 3:00 pm.
