Please accept my deepest condolence. During my time with the Provincial Government, I had Blair on speed dial though most often he was more likely to call me to bring attention to a matter regarding his community. There was never a time that I did not call him during my travels in the area to learn what was going on. He will be missed.

Blair was a good man. I had the privilege of serving with Blair on the Village Council. He was a great mayor, a terrific leader, a very deep thinker and most of all one of the most awesome friends anyone could have. A little gruff on the outside sometimes but a heart of gold on the inside. He was always ready to help someone in need and wanted no repayment. Mayor, store owner, and friend...Blair...We love you and miss you. Rest in Peace, my friend. Kayla, Brian, Nancy and family...You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted by your many good memories of your dad & special friend. Hugs!

After moving to the area four years ago, I got to know Blair through attending the Cambridge Narrows council meetings. Blair with his “get it done” and his willingness to go toe to toe with the province to get funding for local approvals, always had the village’s best interests in mind. The entire village will miss him.
My Sincere condolences

So sorry to hear about Blair and he put up a very strong fight. He will be so greatly missed by so many and all the years he has helped so many people in the area and I am sure never really got a thank you from many for all he had done. He took a great interest in the youth of the area and CNCS which I always shared many chats with him about and all the up and coming events of our district. We also had many "brain storming " chats about new recipes we had made or going to make and now Blair whenever I make "potato scallop" will always have fond memories of you . I am sure you and Dad are discussing Village and Fire Dept stories in Heaven as I write this. Rest Easy <3
