Obituary of Connie Rupp

Connie and Yogi fell in love at first sight. She was the apple of his eye and they lived to make each other happy. Connie and Yogi were inseparable. They began their married life in an apartment, later purchasing land in Millbrook to build their dream home. After several years, they finished their home and Connie was so excited and happy that they had accomplished their dream. She loved to golf, however, being unable to golf on the regular courses, Yogi built her a golf course on their property which they fondly named the Teddy Bear Golf Course. Connie and Yogi worked very close together, side by side, rebuilding trucks and cars to display at the car shows. They had a great love for dogs. Bear and Teddy were loved and spoiled as if they were their children. Connie was very strong willed and kind hearted. She was always willing to do whatever she could for others, never expecting anything in return. Connie was very talented, succeeding at whatever she attempted. She was artistic in every avenue. Connie worked in the food industry. She was a dedicated employee, working very hard at her jobs. Her kitchen was her domain and her kitchen aid was her friend. She baked thousands of rolls, breads and pastries for restaurants, banquets and friends. While working at Dandy's people would come to the restaurant just to eat her home cooking. Family and friends played a huge role in Connie's life; she touched the hearts of everyone that came in contact with her. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. Constance "Connie" Rupp of Millbrook passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 11, 2010 at the age of 50. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). To honor Connie's request, there will be no visitation and a private family service will be held at the Wallace Community Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the family plot at Pioneer Cemetery. Donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
