Obituary of Jean Hudlin

Mrs. Jean Ann Hudlin was born in Saint John, NB on August 2, 1943; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jenneth (Wilmot) Galley Jean was a teacher's assistant for many years working at the Sussex Elementary and Middle School as well as the school in Apohaqui. She loved to be around children so this was the perfect job for her. Jean was known around town as the Scooter Lady and had many friends. She loved to meet them at Tim Horton's for coffee and to catch up on the news. When Jean was able, she loved to knit but was unable to continue this hobby as her illness progressed. Jean also loved to cook but did not like the cleaning up afterwards. Jean will live on in the hearts of her husband: Harold Hudlin; her daughter, Sheri and her husband Andrew of Brampton, ON and her two sons: Randy and his wife Marlene Perry and Robert and his wife Roseanne all of Sussex Corner; ten grandchildren: Chelsea, Jennifer, Keri, Kaley, Megen, Ashley, Brett, Ben, Courtney and Lucas; She also will be missed by her sisters: Edie Darrell (Carl) of Sussex Corner and Sharon Lanigan (Bob) of Belleville, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her infant brother John. Mrs. Jean Ann Hudlin of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on August 29, 2010 at the age of 67.
