I was sorry to hear of your loss. Most of my memories of Claire are when we were students at ‘The Mack School of Nursing’. During one of our breaks 4 of us drove from St.Catharines to Ottawa. We were overjoyed to see Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau arrive at his residence. We were able to wave at him.
Another time during second year training at Christmas time each of us took a coat hanger, cut up pieces of green plastic garbage bags, tied it to the hanger and made branches for our Christmas tree. The tree did look surprisingly good. At least we were pleased with our results.
I’m sorry I didn’t keep in touch. I’ll always treasure my memories of Claire.
