It is with great sadness the family of Fred “Warren” Mason, age 89, of Newtown, NB announce his passing which occurred on Sunday May 31, 2020 at Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB. He was born on April 21, 1931, in Carsonville, NB, a son of the late Medley and Jennie Mason (Mason) and husband of the late Anna “Marita” Mason (Branscombe). Warren was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family was everything to him. He loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and trapper. He enjoyed nothing more than spending a weekend at his hunting camp with cherished family and friends. He will live on in the hearts of his children: Jennie (Ralph), Karen, Brenda, Andrew (Jodey) and Adam (Melissa); brothers: David and Dallas; brothers-in-law: Murray (June), Thomas (Carol Ann) and Pat (Moira); sister-in-law: Glenna; grandchildren: Wesley, Jennie-Lee (Leonard), Alexander (Gwen), Megan, Aidin, Jared, Arren, Jack, Ella, Medley, Whalen, Makayla; great-grandson Mason and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by 3 brothers, 5 sisters and 14 siblings-in-law. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) and due to COVID-19, there will be a private family service.
