I met Emery 17 years ago when I started working at Commercial Tent, I was 16. He could put any young person to shame with his strength and work ethic and I learned a lot from that. He was introduced to me as the “chairman” of commercial tent as he was responsible for chair washing.
He would often remind us of the time he came in on Canada Day and “warshed” 1000 chairs. He was the first person to retire from Commercial Tent and he earned every minute of his retirement. Really going to miss having him wave to me every night after work on my way home.

So sorry to hear about Emery's passing. What a nice man to work with. We always shared lots of laughs and he always remembered me. A happy go lucky man; always made me smile when I saw him walking down the street with that big wave and smile. May you take some comfort in knowing that he touched many people's lives.
