Obituary of James Murphy
Mr. James Russell Murphy was born on November 13, 1951 in Sussex New Brunswick. He was the son of the late Blanche and Hawlie Murphy. He spent his younger years in Collina, and graduated from SRHS, and went from there to become an engineer. In the early 80's Russ relocated to Hamilton, Ontario where he started the flyer business with the love of his life, Brenda and his two step children Jennifer and Justin, and friend Cecil who over the years became like part of the family. Russell and Brenda loved planning their trips to visit with family and friends, and where ever they ended up didnt matter, as Russ always made new friends where ever he stopped by. Russ had a couple of close buddies, that were life long friends, Jim Robinson, and Wayne Mazerolle. Russ enjoyed a good Bingo game, and was also the captain of a men's league, but gave this up and joined a mixed league, so he and Brenda could play together. Russ had a few other buddies that miss him dearly, those being his pets- Kasey, Bandit, Buddy and pal. Russ also loved music and loved singing George Jones, one of his favourite.
