Sandra & the Sleep Family.
So sorry to read your Mother’s passing,she was a truly amazing lady and a special friend to me.We met her at bingo many years ago and became friends instantly.Always very cheerful and kind person. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.My thoughts and Prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time.

Ashley, Sandra and families, I was sad to hear of Aunt Ethel’s passing but I am sure she is so happy to be along side of Uncle Arnold once again. They were the greatest example of true love. She has left you with many happy memories I am sure. I will always remember how classy she always looked and how she was always full of spunk and fun. Please accept my sympathy. My sincere condolences Ashley, Sandra & Aunt Ethel's extended family,
I am truly sorry for your great loss. Lloyd & I enjoyed the warmth & welcome of their home on our many visits with your Mum & Uncle Arnold over the years. It was wonderful listening to the stories of their lives in the bygone years & their devotion to each other was obvious, as was their love of family, as they shared photos & stories. Later, after his passing, we were amazed at your Mum's stamina & usually found her with an apron over her good clothes, making/baking something for a friend, neighbour or someone celebrating a birthday.
When we were living for five months, next door at Coles Island, while preparing our first home, I had regular Saturday morning hair appointments with Ethel & was usually met with the aroma of cookies fresh from the oven & something cooking for dinner. I will miss our chats & her far reaching memory. You are in my thoughts & prayers during this difficult time of loss & longing. Madeline Sleep

I am so sorry to see Mrs. Sleep's passing. She was a sweet lady. I remember her trip to Newfoundland and how nothing was going to stop her. She was full of spunk! When we look to the sky and see a twinkling start we will know who it is! She is now happy with her husband and at peace. Loved her.

Terry and I are so sorry to hear about Ethel's passing. The years we spent at our camp in Coles Island are filled with such great memories of Ethel and Arnold. They were both amazing, hard working people. So warm and welcoming, it was always fun to watch Arnold tease "the bride" and to watch her fondly give it back. Ethel was a very special individual and will be missed. Please accept our deepest condolences♥
