It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Wayne Herbert Sharp on September 4, 2020 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home at the age of 71. Born on March 1, 1949 in Mount Middleton, he was a son of the late Frank and Velma (Carson) Sharp. Wayne will live on in the hearts of his wife, Jeannie (Nelson) Sharp; children: Scott (Darcie) of Mount Middleton and Christina (Todd) Johnston of Berwick; grandchildren: Noah, Katelyn, Evan and Ethan; brothers: Ivan of Ontario, Leslie (Dawn) of Elgin and Walter of Saint John; sister-in-law Susan (Danny) Parlee of Sussex; brother-in-law: Stephen Hood of Mount Middleton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents Wayne was predeceased by his sister Shirley Mawhinney. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10:00am at the Wesley United Cemetery, Berwick with Jeanette Cosman officiating.
