We were shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic passing of Steve. Steve had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone at any time, he was always ready to help anyone in need . We enjoyed many fine stories from Steve as he and our late son 'Kirk Warman were good friends. He and I shared the same birth date and had planned on celebrating our birthday's again next year. You are in our thoughts and prayers as we remember Steve, he will not be forgotten. Hugs, Jane and Blaine Warman

Scrubby, I'll always remember 2 things you did for me. The first was when you helped me put the engine back in my old Z24. We worked on that car all night until the sun came up and you didn't give up until she fired up. The second thing. I was visiting uncle Lester at the junkyard and saw you over at my Fathers old shop. I walked over to have a chat. I noticed one of the old tool boxes dad had in our garage growing up as a child. I said " God I would like to have that tool box". That must have got the wheels turning in your head. I received a call shortly after that from Uncle Lester, he said "Scrubby dropped off an old tool box of your father's". I couldn't believe it. I had the chance this past New Year party at Poley Mountain to thank you for these two things. I will never forget what you said when I mentioned that tool box. You grabbed my hand and pulled me and and said "Once they're gone, all you have is the memories brother". Rest in peace Scrubby.

I never really got to know you that well, but the short time I did you made an impression on my. I meet you when I got my car from Quality Auto in last August. I had to come back because the belt broke and I needed it fixed. You really went out of you way to make me feel comfortable. You were so kind and understanding. I could just not believe it when I saw your picture. I am so sorry. MY prayers are with your family and all your good friends at Quality Auto especially Bruce and Kelly.

We had so many more adventures to have!
Cody and I are so thankful for all the adventures, truck runs, camping, late nights out, lazy nights in, hungover Sundays and all the things in between.
We have so many good memories, it's impossible to pick one. I'm so happy we were able to have our wedding in August. Those memories are some we will cherish forever.
You are going to make the best guardian angel. Rest easy, we'll miss you!

Or seeing you for your 3 medium DD coffees first thing in the morning before you went to work.
