Obituary of Ron Mallory
Ron was born on May 28, 1943 and was the son of the late Lloyd Everett and Dorothy (Kenney) Mallory.
Ron grew up in Saint John, NB where he attended Simonds High School. He left home to work and travel across Canada. His free spirit led him to work on cruise ships and sail boats which gave him the opportunity to travel around the world eight times.
In 1988 he made Sussex his home. At the time of his retirement he worked at Charm Jewellers.
Ron was known for his love of music and his talent of playing the piano. He was often asked to play and sing at family celebrations and Christmas gatherings. Mallory family get togethers always included a sing song with Ron playing the piano and singing hymns.
Ron married Carolyn on August 12, 2000. They built a cottage together where they enjoyed many happy summers entertaining family and friends. He was a very devoted husband and friend who derived great pleasure in helping others. One of the many things he looked forward to was the weekly gathering with the breakfast club.
He was a very devoted son to his mom. It gave him great pleasure to do her errands, pick up her mail, take her shopping and to her appointments.
Ron had a reputation for being very stylish and well dressed.
Ron was a beloved husband, son, brother, step-father, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed...
