Mr. Tedford Wetmore Brown was born in Upper Cumberland Bay on May 17, 1927, he was the son of the late Holly and Annie (Nightingale) Brown and the husband of the late Lillian (Clark) Brown who passed away in 2000. Ted is survived by three daughters: Mildred Ivan of Youngs Cove, Anna Northrup and her husband Ken of Hatfield Point and Ruth Brown of Youngs Cove; five step children: Norman Fairweather of Coles Island; Ira Fairweather and his wife Pauline of Highfield, Leta Welton of Chipman and Floyd Fairweather and his wife Barb of Highfield; three sisters: Viola King of Cumberland Bay, Alida Stanwood and her husband Howard of Yarmouth, NS and Louise Earle and her husband Lawrence of Saint John; four grandchildren: Kevin Brown, Julie Dearman (Rob), Mary Price (Joe) and Robert Northrup (Kim); Six great grandchildren; as well as several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers: Hayward, Calvin, William and George; three sisters: Clara, Dora and Olive; his step daughter, Beatrice Harris and by his sons-in-law: Don Welton and Jim Ivan. Mr. Tedford Wetmore Brown of Youngs Cove passed away at the Sussex Health Center on May 12, 2010 at the age of 82.
