Mr. James Douglas Corbett was born in Dunn's Corner, Queens Co. on August 7, 1931, he was the son of the late Walter and Marion (Smith) Corbett. Doug was a member of the Golden "K", the Fish and Game Association and Trinity Anglican Church. He was a self-employed construction worker and the former president of Corbett and Cooper Ltd. Doug is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters: Susan Walker and her husband David of Fredericton and Dr. Trudy Corbett and Jeff Bales of Brandon, Manitoba; her son, James Corbett and his wife Phyllis of Sussex; two sisters: Dorothy Cooper of Sussex and Georgie Charters and her husband Alan of Sussex; two grandchildren, Peter and Lindsay Walker; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins and a special aunt, Helen Smith of French Lake. Doug was predeceased by his grandson Michael Corbett; his brother, Merritt Corbett and his brother-in-law, Thomas Cooper. Mr. J. Douglas Corbett of Sussex passed away on April 14, 2010 at the age of 78.
