Ken was born in Saint John on March 12, 1916; he was the son of the late Aubrey and Emma (Davies) Edwards. Ken was a member of St. Georges Anglican Church, West Saint John in the Parish of Carleton before coming to Sussex in 1978. He was an active member of Trinity Anglican Church in Sussex, the Sussex Kiwanis Club for over 60 years, the Golden "K" and the Golden "K" Ramblers, the NB Telephone Pioneers and the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20. Ken served overseas during WWII in with the RAF and the RCAF and retired from NBTel in 1977 after 42 years. Ken is survived by his wife Ruth, three sons: Bob and his wife Janet of Cambridge, NS, Keith of Toronto and John and his wife Cathy of Fredericton; five grandchildren: Andrew and his wife Kathy, David, Paul, Carol and Jason; as well as several nieces and nephews. Ken was the last surviving member of his immediate family; he was predeceased by his brother Bill and by his sister, Edith Irvine. Mr. Kenneth Raymond Edwards of Wallace Court Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 19, 2009 at the age of 93.
