Obituary of Bryant Almon
Bryant Almon was born in Sussex on February 11, 1951, he was the son of the late Sanford and Bertha (Anderson.) Almon.
Bryant attended Mt. Pisgah Country School until grade 8. At the age of 19, he met Joanne and began their family. They built their first home together and still live there today. Bryant worked with DMR for 14 years until he decided to change careers and went to work in the woods for a number of years.
People also knew Bryant as Grinny because he always had a smile on his face. He Loved working in the barn with pigs and cows, hunting, fishing and listening to country music, especially George Jones. He also loved playing bingo and spending time with Joanne his beloved wife of 40 years.
He is also survived by his daughter, Loretta Almon; two sons: Bryant and his wife Lynette, Rick and his wife Amanda; five brothers: Lloyd, Douglas, Clifford and Ralph and his wife Karen; two sisters: Jane Wood and her husband Richard, Louise Howe and her husband Ronald; six grandchildren: Kelsey, Brittany, Justin, Jasanna, Simone and Chad; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bryant Almon of Knightville passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the age of 58.
