Mrs. Dora Phillips was born in Coles Island on July 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Hutchins) Beck and was the wife of the late Charles Phillips who passed away in 2008. Dora is survived by her brother, James Beck of Cherryvale Rd.; three sisters: Edith Price of Hillsborough, Lola Brooker (John Barry) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Shirley Black (Joe) of Cherryvale; her special friends: Russell and Diane Smillie and all the Smillie Family; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: George, Ernest, Walter and Leslie and by her sisters: Beatrice Chown and Iva Smith. Mrs. Dora Phillips of Coles Island, passed away at the Primrose Cottage on November 21, 2009 at the age of 84.
