Mrs. Etta "Irene" Camp (Wyman)(Smillie) Ryder was born in New Minas, NS on October 24, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Potter) Wyman and the wife of the late Manford I. Ryder. Irene was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Irene is survived by her daughter Shirley Hooper and her husband Don of Halifax, NS and her son Russell Smillie and his wife Diane of Coles Island, NB; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers: Russell, Cortland, Malcolm (Mickey); her sisters: Norma and Maude; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Wyman and by her grandson, Andrew Hooper. Mrs. Etta "Irene" Camp (Wyman)(Smillie) Ryder of Coles Island, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on November 20, 2009 at the age of 93.
